4 Videos to Rock Your Marketing
As a Marketing Strategist who has learned to joyfully embrace video for teaching and selling (resulting in consistent $50k weeks), I often get asked from coaches and consultants:
How can I use video to increase my sales and build my business?
Let’s look at four specific ways you can use videos in your marketing. (I’ve included examples of these too, so you can see them in action.)
- Make spur-of-the-moment fun videos! Record a video when the mood hits you. The mood struck me one day while I was kayaking to talk about how my experience of renting the kayak and marketing your business are the same!
- Teach a skill in a training video. This type of video should teach ONE specific idea that gets your viewer to think deeply about an aspect you are an expert at. Here’s one for you to watch and learn from: Would you buy your own product/service?
- Make a video testimonial with one of your clients or customers. A 30 second video would be enough to show new prospects how happy your clients are with your work! Or, you can talk a little longer with your clients and really showcase what it is like to work with you.
- Add a professional video to your speaking page if you are looking to secure more speaking opportunities. These videos show you in action — which is what conference organizers (virtual and in-person) want to see!
Video marketing allows others to get a glimpse into your personality — in a way that can’t be accomplished with blogging or newsletter writing.
The viewer is able to hear your tone of voice, see your face, and make a connection with you in a new and exciting way.
I do love writing — but in the end, what continues to sell my coaching and consulting services the most, is video. When I learned to have tons of fun with it — everything changed!
